     Sheila, Sheila, Sheila!  She’s gorgeous, She’s funny, She’s intelligent  AND She’s a SWIMMER! 
I love this girl!  For such a large dog she has great spunk and energy, yet is easy to train and is very well behaved.   We go to the park to play with kids, she interacts well with other dogs, yet she is very aware of her surroundings and notices things that are “out of the ordinary.”  She LOVES the pool!

I have never had a dog that loved the water.  I spent the winter months worried about her accidentally falling in the pool.  The first time I got in the pool, she independently followed me to the beach landing.  So the next time I decided to swim out to the deep end and “Little Miss Confident” swam right out with me!  It was as if she knew I would never lead her somewhere unsafe!  NOW, she swims by herself.  In fact, the other night, at 3am she decided to go for a swim and then get back in bed!  She is quite special and I am so happy we brought her into our lives! 

Blizzard
lives with Robert, Diane & family in Massachusetts

Blizzard is now 8 months old and a bundle of energy!  She loves to play fetch with tennis balls (it's her talent!) and wrestle with her best buddy Leo.  She loves to eat (Boerboels love food!), chew on toys & bones, and craves lots of attention from her family.  She keeps us on our toes but is coming along nicely.  Both Leo and Blizzard have been great additions to our family!

Osiris
lives with Michelle, Joe & family in Florida

When Michelle and I decided on adding a Boerboel to the family we decided to use some type of African name but couldn’t decide on which. The minute my wife met our little puppy she instantly felt he looked like an ancient Egyptian and thought the name Osiris fit him perfectly. He was so cute and the biggest set of paws of any dog we’ve had before including our Rottweiler. He was very goofy but as he grew it was apparent that he would be a very elegant and powerful dog. Everyone who sees him in person always comment on his physical beauty and his noble carriage. He has maintained his light colored eyes that seem to bore through to your soul. When he looks at you, you can mentally see him analyzing you. We now have to spell things like “walkies, snacks, biscuit, etc” he is so intelligent. 

Osiris is very loving and affectionate but due to his size (130 lbs. at 10 months old) he tends to leave bruises on whomever he touches. He has learned to treat our 3 year old son delicately. Osiris waits for my son to approach him and remains still while they interact. However, he still body slams our 6 year old Golden Retriever whenever possible. He is the most well behaved dog on the leash I have ever had. He responds really well to voice commands whether on or off the leash even when there is company. We’ve been trying to get him to swim in our pool but as of yet only walks the perimeter even though the Golden jumps right in. I’m sure with time he’ll buck up and give it a try.

He tries to sneak up on you but you always know when he’s nearby. It’s almost like the “Jaws” sound track when you hear his “whoosh, whoosh” as he approaches. When there are strangers in the house or yard he looks very intimidating and people are naturally afraid of him even after they find out he’s a puppy.
