Athena is one of our upcoming breeding females with an outstanding temperament and impressive conformation. Her build is compact and superbly developed, with a prominent head, chest, and hindquarters. Being one of our smaller breeding females, Athena packs on excellent muscle definition which does not inhibit smooth, fluent movement from her. She is very agile and light on her paws, which make bounding over agility equipment, fencing and tall grass look effortless. 

We have laid down tracks for Athena to see how well she uses her nose for the possibility of tracking work and I must admit, I was pleasantly surprised to see a strong desire to seek using her nose. 
     She is very gentle and sweet around children and younger people. She is confident
and happy meeting new people but always displays a watchful demeanor, presenting herself between the new person/s and her family. When Athena is outside, she patrols the perimeter of our property and is continually vigilant to unwelcome strangers.  She is very quiet and stealthy when out on the property, rarely barking.
